We consider brokers to be important partners in the movement to provide quality insurance coverage and risk management guidance to the world of Sports and Entertainment. As such, our programs are written through independent brokers. One of our primary objectives is to make your job easier, while becoming better equipped to effectively market, write, and service your target accounts. Providers within the Sports and Entertainment industry are unique in and of themselves. By partnering with you, we can increase our ability to understand the risks they face and provide the specific services they need.

As you are aware, each state's regulatory department requires licensing for any broker soliciting coverage within that state. Failure to maintain proper licensing status can result in penalties not only to the broker, but also to the insurer. Therefore, in addition to the completed Broker Agreement, we require that you provide the following:
A copy of your resident license and, if applicable, non-resident licenses for each state in which you have an account insured with our program.
A copy of your agency’s corporate license issued by your state's Department of Insurance.
American Specialty requires that all brokers provide evidence of coverage for errors and omissions liability coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000 for any one event or occurrence, and shall also provide American Specialty evidence of such policy as issued by a carrier rated "A" VII or better by A.M. Best. Please provide American Specialty with a Certificate of Insurance or other evidence of your E&O coverage.
